Conrail northbound AV-2 in Dumont NJ with 126 cars on Conrail's River Line. Ex Reading GP35 leading with an ex EL GP35 in back of it. The next three are a U25B and two GP40's, all ex PC. Howard Kent Jr. 06-26-1977.

Stagecoach Bluebird contunie to use their batch of 5 ex Dublin Bus Volvo B7TL/ALX400's in front line service,have to admit given the number of Enviro 400MMC's i saw in the area to being somewhat surprised. 4 of the 5 were in daily use throught my visit to the area.
Stagecoach Bluebird 16975-formally Dublin Bus AV214- picks up in the town of Fraserburgh-some 40 miles north of Aberdeen-on the 78A town service. The destination is somewhat ironic in that 16975 would have operated the Dublin 78A occasionally in Dublin,as Broadstone-its home depot when new-ran extras on the route.
After furher spells in Fraserburgh,Peterhead and Ellon 16975 was noted back in Aberdeen the following day.
