De workshop werd gehouden in Sportschool de Leeuw te Leeuwarden onder leiding van Atze van der Meulen die organiseerde de workshop voor ongeveer 35 personen. Semmy Schilt gaf samen met Dave Jonkers en Jan Norder van Golden Glory de geslaagde workshop.
Dressing the stage for his recent tour, renowned German comedian Atze Schröder used four PufferSphere XL displays to flank him on stage and add some visuals to his performance!

Atze Hoffmann starb 2022 nach langer Krankheit im Alter von 72 Jahren! Hier wird der Mannheimer Morgen gelesen, natürlich während der Arbeitszeit. Sonst hätte man ja keine Zeit zum Lesen!

Ätzen der Platine in Natrium-Persulfat. Ich beschränke mich auf Europakarten und habe beim Einkauf der temperaturfesten Glasschüssel eine Europakarte mitgenommen. Die Platine liegt nur an den Ecken auf, mit ein paar mm Luft zum Boden. Das sorgt dafür, dass der Photolack auf der Unterseite nicht zerkratzt wird und die Unterseite wird auch geätzt.
40-50°C sind OK. Es dürfen sich keine Blasen bilden, nur fast. Die Pfanne mit dem Wasser darunter ist nötig seit ich einen Induktionsherd habe. Der funktioniert nicht mit Glasschüsseln. Es gab bisher keine Schäden an der Pfanne. Emaille / Chrom. Gelegentlich entkalken.
Um Luftblasen loszuwerden kann man die Glasschüssel etwas kippeln und mit einem Plaste-Salatlöffel kann man bei großen lokalen NICHT-Kupferflächen für etwas mehr Bewegung sorgen und unterschiedliche Ätzgeschwindigkeiten ausgleichen.
Man kann natürlich auch mit Eisen-3-Chlorid sudeln. Das erzeugt schöne Flecken, die allerdings aus Gewebe mit der Zeit wieder von selbst herausgehen.

Up in the air.
On Saturday. When there was almost every airport down in whole germany because of Eyjafjallajökull, I was flying.
A friend of mine took me on a flight for free in his glider.
It was great. We were flying over the bavarian ocean (chiemsee) and along the mountains.
Perfect.
And at the end I even took the rudder by myself and played pilot for a few minutes. Not that easy, I can tell you, but very much fun.
We even went weightless a few times.
A great feeling!

This ATZ shot was peeled apart and then I washed the chemicals from the paper negative. Then I scanned and inverted it for a positive image.
This is similar to the "goop" technique used on peel-apart films, but it takes more work to get to this image.
Travel West Midlands Travel Dennis Trident 2/Alexander ALX400 4329 (BX02 ATZ) is on loan to Birmingham Central from Walsall, for the Metro replacement service ML1, but has sneaked off onto a normal route. It is seen waiting to start a PM peak working on the 63 to Frankley, on Park Street, Birmingham.

friday 15 October 2010 the m.a.i.d (melbourne artists illustrators & designers) exhibition opens at the owl & the pussycat gallery in richmond. the m.a.i.d. exhibition is in the new second-level gallery space from Friday.
six prints of my polaroid images, including this one, are going to be in the exhibition. most of them are on flickr but, of course there's nothing like the real thing!
