The ATS Amackassin was a ferry lighter purchased by the US Army to move troops from the shore to ships waiting in the harbor, it was sold by the Army at Hoboken NJ on 7 June 1921. * Amackassin was a 181 ton ferry owned by the New York and Hastings Steamboat Co of New York in 1909 and was sold the the army sometime in 1918
