The Bewick's wren (Thryomanes bewickii) is a wren native to North America. At about 14 cm (5.5 in) long, it is grey-brown above, white below, with a long white eyebrow. While similar in appearance to the Carolina wren, it has a long tail that is tipped in white. The song is loud and melodious, much like the song of other wrens. The song is broken into two or three individual parts; one individual male may exhibit up to twenty-two different variations on the song pattern, and may even throw in a little ventriloquism to vary it even further. It lives in thickets, brush piles and hedgerows, open woodlands and scrubby areas, often near streams. It eats insects and spiders, which it gleans from vegetation or finds on the ground. Wrens are sometimes observed foraging with chickadees and other birds.
Its range is from southern British Columbia, Nebraska, southern Ontario, and southwestern Pennsylvania, Maryland, south to Mexico, Arkansas and the northern Gulf States. The Bewick's wren does not migrate.
The nest is cup-shaped and located in a nook or cavity of some kind. It lays 5–7 eggs that are white with brown spots. The Bewick's wren produces two broods in a season. Pairs are more or less monogamous when it comes to breeding, but go solitary throughout the winter.
This is currently the only species of its genus, Thryomanes. The Socorro wren, formerly placed here too, is actually a close relative of the house wren complex, as indicated by biogeography and mtDNA NADH dehydrogenase subunit 2 sequence analysis, whereas Thryomanes seems not too distant from the Carolina wren.

and that became a book. Because of the pandemic this year my son and wife could not travel. My imagination was running wild and in this book that I did for them, they traveled the world. The book contain 60 manipulated images, with the most stunning and famous places in the world as a background with them on the photos.

Borgo portuale di origine Etrusca (circa III sec. a.z.) di grande interesse commerciale fino al 1600/1700. Il nome deriva dalla dea Menerva (dea della saggezza, delle arti e del commercio)

Piccolo borgo sul mare di pescatori sorto nel XIV sec. in Toscolandia. Il borgo si affaccia su una estesa baia dove spesso sostavano galeoni e vascelli per ripararsi dalle tempestose acque esterne. Qui la Piazza di Sigismondo, in onore del fondatore del borgo Sigismondo da Rughera, con la Fontana dell'Abbeveratoio del sec. XVI.

Noto nell'antichità come porto di guerra, è celebre in tutto il mondo per essere stato (secondo la leggenda) il punto in cui sorgeva il Colosso di Rodi, una delle Sette Meraviglie del Mondo Antico.
Il colosso, imponente statua di bronzo alta circsa 48 metri, fu costruito nel 292 a.C., ad opera dello scultore Care di Lindo. Il Colosso di Rodi fu ditrutto da un terribile terremoto nel 227 a.C..
Ricostruzione del porto ispirato dal mondo di Fantastilandia in provincia di Imaginatiua.
Nato a Perga nel 100 circa d.C (forse a Tolemaide Eudia o Pelusio) in Egitto e morto in Alessandria in Egitto nel 170 d.C.
E' stato un matematico, geografo e astronomo egiziano. La fama di Tolomeo è legata indissolubilmente al modello tolemaico, la teoria astronomica che poneva la Terra immobile al centro dell'universo, con il Sole, la Luna e i pianeti che ruotavano attorno a essa. Per spiegare le anomalie visive dei pianeti, come il moto retrogrado, introdusse complessi cerchi matematici (Epicicli e deferenti: concetto introdotto da Apollonio di Perga (III a.C.)). Nel campo geografico introdusse sistematicamente l'uso della latitudine e longitudine fissando il meridiano 0 nelle isole Canarie (coordinate sferiche), per posizionare i punti sul globo.
Lo scritto più importante fu l'Almagesto (in origine "Sintassi Matematica del cielo"). Trattato astronomico strutturato in 13 libri e raccoglie la sintesi geometrica del cosmo antico.
