i haven't put up many pictures of krista cause i'm not happy with a lot of the shots i got. and my photoshopping of them hasn't gone well. i think it's cause she's the first blonde hair/light eyes/light skin model i've shot. so i'm finally getting around to liking what i do with her pictures in photoshop.

if you look at it large, you can better see a weird, tear-drop shaped shadow under one of calu's eyes. i don't know why it happened, but i thought it looked cool.
this is the kind of shot that makes me sad cause it was such a cool idea (i thought) but it got screwed up when it came time to compose mostly because i just couldn't fit everything that i wanted in the frame. so she has no hands or feet. bah. i'm gonna blame my limited lens choice. yes.
I finally got to go back to APG...in the fog and rain... We had fun and I got to chat it up with some great photogs!!

I edited this one last night. I guess I didn't upload it cause I didn't think it was done, but I saw it again today and though, um... it's done. so there you go.
I did a lot of counter-intuitive things in post (softening rather than sharpening and things like that), but I like how it turned out anyway.
this was not actually my idea. but I don't know the name of the APGer who suggested this shot. if you see this and that was you, say, "hey, that was me," so I can give you the credit you deserve for this coolness.
i have about twelve different edits of this picture (ok, that's hyperbole) but i like this one the best, i think. still not quiiiiiite like i want it, but it's close.
