This is just before the tunnel to Chile. This was the farthest point in the journey -- we returned to Aconcagua and Mendoza later in the day.

Andes Mountains in the early morning. The road rises from an elevation of 600 m. in Nasca to 4,700 m. nearing Cuzco (elevation 3,400 m.) The 13-hour bus ride runs beside sheer drops of hundreds of meters and more.

September 17, 2016 - We got out of the bus for a photo opportunity on our way to Cusco. The Sacred Valley is so beautiful as you can see in this photo. Someowhere on the way to Cusco, Peru.

  

This is me and a few yanks trekking out in the andes. the place is called cordon del plata, i think it´s just silver mountain or something. we just hiked to the base camp which was at 3500 metres. enough to make me dizzy and my hands swell a little.

btw, this was after the move to argentina
