This little perl thing will convert the silly AM/PM format to 24-hour so gnuplot can work on it. Note I'm really just providing a loop to call Time::Normalize.
-----------------------------------------------
# program to fix the TED csv files to have a proper time of day.
# And, optionally, drop the silly " " and ,
use Time::Normalize;
# use Parse::CSV;

# Test if file exists and is readable, first.
if (! -r $infile || ! -f $infile) { die "$infile should already exist as a plain file: $!"; }
open(IN, $infile) || die "Can't open file $infile for input : $!";
