Am 5. Juli 2014 konnte ich diese Aufnahmen vom „Alfred-Lion-Steg“ aus machen.
Die E-Lok 120 114-4 der „DB AG“ umfährt „ihren“ im Bahnhof Berlin-Südkreuz stehenden Zug. Kurz darauf gelangen mir die Fotos vom nordwärts fahrenden ODEG-Zug auf der Linie RE 4 sowie vom in die gleiche Richtung strebenden S-Bahnzug.

am Rande der Etosha Pfanne in Namibia besuchten uns zwei Elefanten auf der Lodge und stillten ihren Durst im Pool, der ca 3m über der Erde lag
This is a 4" x 5 1/2" mounted photo taken in Joliet, Illinois probably around the early 1900's, if not sooner. A very jaunty pose. Most likely a National Guard man who may have served in the Spanish-American War.

Die oktogonale Dorfkirche Golzow wurde im Jahr 1750 im Barockstil auf einem künstlichen Hügel als zweigeschossige Emporenkirche mit Patronatsloge erbaut.
Golzow, ein Dorf mit rund 1330 Einwohnern, liegt rund 14 Kilometer nördlich von Bad Belzig und rund 19 Kilometer südlich von Brandenburg an der Havel. Auf unserer Tour war es das einzige Dorf, das nicht im oder am Fläming liegt, sondern in der historischen Region Zauche, dem Kerngebiet, in dem die Mark Brandenburg entstand. Eine Wasserburg Golzow wurde 1219 urkundlich erwähnt. Im Schutz der Burg entwickelte sich dann die Gemeinde. Brände und Kriege vernichteten die Burg, auf deren Ruine im Jahre 1685 ein Herrenhaus im Barockstil gebaut wurde. Es wurde am Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges zerstört.

Golzow, a village of about 1330 inhabitants, lies about 14 kilometres north of Bad Belzig and about 19 kilometres south of Brandenburg an der Havel. On our tour it was the only village that is not located in or on the edge of the Fläming hills, but in the historical region of Zauche, the core area where the Margraviate of Brandenburg originated. A water castle of Golzow was mentioned in a document from 1219. The village developed under the protection of the castle. Fires and wars destroyed the castle, on the ruins of which a baroque mansion was built in 1685. This was destroyed at the end of World War II.
Our third A&M train of the evening was the Bentonville Local. Here's RS32 #30 returning south through Rogers, Arkansas with a healthy cut of freight! We were digging that Alco smoke and sound!

I am just going to go ahead and get this out of the way. Bireos’s bow-axe is functional. It uses a spring trigger mechanism to shoot a bolt.

Backstory:
(Note: This references the backstories of my previous MOCs, Diaa, Ceth, and Ahi.)
A skilled huntsman and master of many weapons, Bireos is a battle-worn mercenary. In his youth, Bireos was hired by the Predecessors to hunt down and eliminate the leaders of the Conduit race in the Predecessor-Conduit war. Although he had no elemental abilities, Bireos was surprisingly successful. Although the war ended when the Conduits fled Okoto, Bireos still roams Okoto’s wilderness in search of Ahi, Bireos’s one charge that succeeded in eluding him. Bireos has grown old over the eons, but he is still as skilled and unrelenting as ever.

Bireos is incredibly strong and cunning, preferring to attack from afar rather than engaging his opponents in short range combat. Bireos uses his crossbow in combination with his Kanohi Huna to strike unseen from a distance. When needed, he can switch from firing charged bolts to using his bow-axe’s axe form. He can also use his energized broadsword to battle in close quarters. With his versatile weaponry, powerful mask, immense strength, propensity for strategy, and unrelenting commitment to the hunt, Bireos is truly an opponent to be feared.
