C-FCWW - McDonnell Doulas DC-8-55/F - ACS (Air Charter Systems)
at Rotterdam Airport (RTM)
c/n 45.762 - built in 1965 for Philippine Airways
Air Charter Systems (ACS) was founded in 1987 and was a very short lived all Cargo Airline, which once it ceased operating in 1990, it was reborn as International Cargo Charter (ICC), which operated from 1998 until 2003. Transport Canada show
C-FCWW as being owned by the Soundair Corporation. Soundair was at the time was embarking on a period of aggressive expansion with the founding of Commuter Express (Air Toronto as of 1988) re-branding its original Airline Operation to Soundair Express and then forming Odyssey International in 1988. Soundair succumbed to commercial pressures in March 1990. ACS operated many sub-charters in Europe during this time.

Edited Hubble Space Telescope image of the galaxy PGC 54493. Processing variant.
Original caption: This new NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope image shows a beautiful spiral galaxy known as PGC 54493, located in the constellation of Serpens (The Serpent). This galaxy is part of a galaxy cluster that has been studied by astronomers exploring an intriguing phenomenon known as weak gravitational lensing. This effect, caused by the uneven distribution of matter (including dark matter) throughout the Universe, has been explored via surveys such as the Hubble Medium Deep Survey. Dark matter is one of the great mysteries in cosmology. It behaves very differently from ordinary matter as it does not emit or absorb light or other forms of electromagnetic energy — hence the term "dark". Even though we cannot observe dark matter directly, we know it exists. One prominent piece of evidence for the existence of this mysterious matter is known as the "galaxy rotation problem". Galaxies rotate at such speeds and in such a way that ordinary matter alone — the stuff we see — would not be able to hold them together. The amount of mass that is "missing" visibly is dark matter, which is thought to make up some 27% of the total contents of the Universe, with dark energy and normal matter making up the rest. PGC 55493 has been studied in connection with an effect known as cosmic shearing. This is a weak gravitational lensing effect that creates tiny distortions in images of distant galaxies. A version of this image was entered into the Hubble's Hidden Treasures image processing competition by contestant Judy Schmidt. Links Hubble Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS)

A bus-load of girls were brought in from Blenheim for the occasion.
14 Aug 2021: Frank Burlingham recalls that Tony Neil was on the drums for while.
15 Aug 2021: Logan Taylor 'Ratz' comments:
I remember the band and the night a bus was put on to bring in girls from Blenheim. The band was a bass player short that night and I got pressured into filling in. I had no idea on bass playing so I pretended to play. It was a very successful evening.
