Peering into the depths of space, the Hubble’s Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) has imaged the nearby but faint dwarf galaxy ESO 540-030 appearing as a swarm of uniformly dim pinpoints of light.
ESO 540-030 is just over 11 million light-years distant and is part of the Sculptor Group of galaxies. This collection with about a dozen, loosely bound members, is close in space to the Local Group of galaxies of which the Milky Way is a part. Due to its proximity, the Sculptor Group contains some of the brightest galaxies in the southern skies, although ESO 540-030 is not one of these; dwarf galaxies generally have low surface brightness, which make them difficult to locate and study.
In the background of the image, many different types of galaxies — spirals, barred spirals, ellipticals, and irregulars — are all on display due to the sensitive detectors within the ACS.

ACS-64 621 on the north end of Penn Interlocking Philadelphia, PA January 2015. This motor is the electric engine that will take Train 42 from Philadelphia to New York after the diesel locomotive that came from Pittsburgh is taken off in Philadelphia. An N scale version of this motor is available from Kato.

British Airways managed to sell a total of 5 Trident 3B's to ACS in Zaire. After a short career in Africa these aircraft got retired and scrapped.

15 Aug 2021: Logan Taylor 'Ratz' comments:
I remember the band and the night a bus was put on to bring in girls from Blenheim. The band was a bass player short that night and I got pressured into filling in. I had no idea on bass playing so I pretended to play. It was a very successful evening.
