I am not happy with Flickr – I gave up on adding the location of my photos to the map as it took TOO long and NOW I cannot access the HTML code and therefore could not put some of these photos into the Comment Box under a main photo!!!
I am also fed up with the new Flickr blaming a Panda instead of simply apologising for their problems since taking over Flickr.

Having access to the roof of our apartment has been amazing during the pandemic. As we prepare to move to a new apartment, thought I'd take a few fun pictures to document what to us is an everyday portal to the outdoor world!
The area south of the railroad tracks in Long Beach and Gulfport was only open to people who had reason to be there. The week after the hurricane, they had military personnel at each street crossing the railroad tracks; three weeks later (above), there was razor wire across all the open areas, and police had taken over most of the checkpoints.
cass gilbert's monumental facade for the supreme court. the steps, which have been the public's entrance to the court since it opened, closed this term for "security reasons." now lawyers enter through a small door on the side of the building. there was a lot of reporting about how depressing this is, symbolically.
