Messing around with iOS new image cropping (and some poor photo editing in one pic).
So many of The Dude’s bald head sculpts are going to end up in storage after this set was released. Really cool they included multiple demon masks. Good accessories overall, making up for how difficult dress shoes are to balance with these suited figures.

A review of the MCU GotG 5 pack, Disney exclusive
TL;DR: Great stuff if you missed out
Gamora- Heels are never the easiest to balance. Face is stoic, I would’ve preferred slightly angry. She comes with sword and retracted sword for accessories. Both are pretty cool and retracted sword fits into a side holster well. (Legends GotG Vol2 reissue)
Rocket- tiny figures with 18pts of articulation and two different molded blasters (I don’t think this figure could wield other weapons/large guns unfortunately). Head can only rotate, like Ursa Major. Mouth doesn’t close. (Legends GotG Vol2 reissue)
StarLord- legs are kind of basic, jacket limits range of motion slightly. He comes with two identical blasters that port into his legs when standing in vanilla pose. He also has two head options, both are really good. I’d say the Pratt face is almost reminiscent of the GotG Game version. No jetpack accessories or sculpts- same for Walkman. (Legends Ego 2 pack reissue)
Drax the Destroyer- possibly my favorite of the lot, surprisingly. Normal articulation with pins and ab crunch. He comes with his twin identical daggers that can be stared in boot holsters. Face sculpt is pretty great for this fig. (Legends GotG Vol2 reissue)
Groot(s)- two tiny unarticulated groots are fine. Big Groot is substantial in size. His sculpt hinders articulation slightly. His face is a little derpy, a serious expression may’ve worked better. (Legends TRU exclusive reissue)
All of the sculpts and paint apps are good. Packaging is cool. Pinned-joints are going to look dated soon. When comparing this set to what Hasbro is asking for the MojoWorld 3.5 pack, I think this isn’t an insane price point. Having missed out on comic and previous iterations of this team, I’m happy to have this in my collection.
Cosmic shelf is looking much better with this addition!

Samedi 30 mai, dans le cadre de la journée « 1000 initiatives pour le climat ! » de la Coalition Climat 21, 100 personnes ont défilé à bicyclette, pour soutenir le projet de Tram'bus et demander à ce que les 26 millions d'euros votés en 2010 par l'ACBA, pour le tronçon de LGV entre Tours et Bordeaux, soient réaffectés au financement du développement du vélo et des bus sur l'agglo.
La bataille contre le dérèglement climatique se gagne ou se perd définitivement dans les cinq prochaines années. La conférence sur le climat qui se déroulera en décembre 2015 à Paris -la COP 21- est présentée comme un rendez-vous décisif pour tenter de trouver un accord ambitieux, contraignant et juste pour le climat.
Les 100 personnes qui ont pédalé dans une ambiance festive, ce samedi 30 mai, n'attendent pas que les solutions contre le dérèglement climatique n'arrivent que d’en haut. Localement aussi de vraies solutions existent dans les domaines de la production énergétique, des transport, du bâtiment, de l'agriculture, etc..
« En matière de transport, les solutions sont connues pour réduire les émissions de gaz à effet de serre : prendre le bus ou le train, rouler à vélo, marcher, faire du covoiturage. Ici sur l'agglomération bayonnaise, les transports représentent 55% des émissions de gaz à effet de serre. C'est une proportion énorme. Deux fois plus que la moyenne nationnale. Mais du coup cela offre l'opportunité d'une réduction massive de ces émissions, dès lors que les bonnes solutions seront mises en œuvre » indique Iban Grossier, porte-parole de Bizi !
Avec des slogans comme « à vélo et en bus, je clim'acte ! », ou plus simplement « OUI au Tram'Bus ! » les vélorutionnaires ont clairement marqué leur soutien au projet de Tram'bus qui devrait être mis en service en 2019, renforçant ainsi une vraie alternative à la voiture pour les déplacements quotidien. « Il faudra aussi mieux desservir tous les quartiers du BAB » précise une participante.
Second message davantage revendicatif, on pouvait lire, en français et en basque, de nombreux panneaux accrochés sur les vélos « Nos 26 millions d'euros, pour nos bus, pas pour la LGV ! ». Bizi ! a de nouveau rappelé sa demande faite au président de l'ACBA que les 26 millions d’euros votés par l'agglo pour la LGV Tours-Bordeaux soient réaffectés à des projets locaux de transports alternatifs à la voiture individuelle, comme le bus et le vélo. « Nous savons que 9 millions ont déjà été payés. Nous demandons que les 17 millions restant soient utilisés pour accélérer la mise en œuvre concrète du schéma cyclable de l'agglo et améliorer la desserte en bus sur toute l'agglo, voire au-delà » signale Bizi !. De plus, l'association souhaite également que l’agglo puisse récupérer les 9 millions versés. « cet argent est celui des habitants d'ici, il doit avant tout servir pour des projets de transport du quotidien, pas pour un projet inutile comme la LGV ».
Six mois avant l’ouverture de la conférence de l'ONU sur le Climat à Paris (COP21) en décembre 2015 et six jours avant le départ du Tour Alternatiba, le vendredi 5 juin à Bayonne, Bizi ! a rappelé, une nouvelle fois, la nécessité d'agir maintenant contre le dérèglement climatique. Clairement, en matière de transport, des solutions existent. Elles ne demandent qu'à être massivement déployées.

D’Spayre!
The cape smells amazing lol
From the moment this guy was revealed at PulseCon ‘21, I dug this character that I know relatively little about.
Great articulation, head movement is slightly hindered by the soft plastic cape. But I really dig the cape on an otherwise boring buck, and that New Plastic smell is awesome!
Will we ever see this guy enter the MCU (not counting Cloak&Dagger)? Ties to Shang Chi, Dr. Strange, and apparently Echo?

Silk takes down Death Dealer
I don’t know a whole lot about Silk- she’s a character I haven’t come across in comics or other media. The big book of Marvel tells me she was a character introduced in 2014 (by Dan Slott) and had run-ins with Morlun..
She’s a great looking figure with super clean lines. I really like both head sculpts and paint apps. The accessories are on point for any Spider-person. Articulation is great, she is a very stable character to balance.
I would’ve passed if she wasn’t packed in with Doc Ock, Julia Carpenter is my main Spider-chick, but I’m digging this new character.
Cindy Moon is already in the MCU and rumors claim that Sony has bigger plans for her in the near future.
I don’t see Death Dealer in too many pics out there, and there could be good reason for that.
For as cool looking of a character he is, he didn’t leave much of an impression in the MCU. The figure looks pretty cool, but is lacking in articulation and accessories. I like the blade-throwing hands, but he could’ve really benefited from weapon holding hands and a “10 rings” saber. Or at least a chopping hand/fist??
Dude was on a deep discount and made the collection.
