An anti-lock braking system, is a safety system on motor vehicles which prevents the wheels from locking while braking.
A rotating road wheel allows the driver to maintain steering control under heavy braking, by preventing a locked wheel or skid, and allowing the wheel to continue to forward roll and create lateral control, as directed by driver steering inputs. Disadvantages of the system include increased braking distances under some limited circumstances (ice, snow, gravel, steel bridges, anything other than dry tarmac) and the creation of a "false sense of security" among drivers who do not understand the operation, and limitations of ABS.
Least Bittern ~ (Ixobrychus exilis)
I was impressed with the 'core strength' of this Least Bittern as it would extend itself out from its perch. Maybe it should have its own video series!
Thanks for visiting!

A new GE ES44AC leads a stack train eastbound at ABS 9484 at Baskin, Utah in Echo Canyon.
My first entry to the ABS season 2 finale. The seed part is the silver goblet, which I used as keys on the typewriter, and in the candlesticks.
The part is used 24 times.
Built for the ABS Builder Challenge. The seed part is the red curved slope.
My sixth and final entry for the ABS builder challenge: www.flickr.com/groups/2762205@N25/discuss/72157650961615408/
I used the piece in a number of ways in this build: the closet and dresser doorknobs, the ceiling fan support, and the microscale Lego creations in progress.
My second creation for Round 1.6 of the ABS Builder Challenge!
The sinful seed part was used a total of 10 times in this creation, 4 in the organ and 6 in the stained glass window.
Hope you enjoy!
