Aal Fangnetze in den Rheinauen

Keine 5 Minuten waren wir am 25. Mai an der geplanten Fotostelle zwischen Hünfeld und Burghaun angekommen, als auch schon das Highlight des Tages durch den Sucher rollte. 192 060 in der Kombibeklebung Locon/EP Cargo wurde am Vortag mit ihrem Containerzug aus Bremerhaven in Göttingen geparkt und rollt jetzt mit dem 77075 Göttingen Gbf - Aalen Hbf an den Hünfelder Einfahrsignalen vorbei.

Im Hintergrund die kath. Pfarrkirche Mariae Himmelfahrt Burghaun

AAL was an orphaned Wood Duck who was rescued by a local rehabber and released back into the wild (after being banded). I caught up with him at a local park where he was hanging with a couple of other Wood Ducks and (shown here) chasing after a female Mallard.

Da der Herbst nun langsam den Blättern ihre sommerliche Grüne nimmt packe ich mal ein Bild von diesem Frühling aus. Die ersten Blätter waren aus dem Winterschlaf erwacht und ich hatte mich an ein paar Stellen im Remstal ausprobiert. Zu dieser Zeit, als noch 111er des BW Stuttgart mit Dostos auf der Remsbahn fuhren, hatte ich 111 076 mit RE19417 von Stuttgart nach Aalen bei Plüdershausen am Flussufer der Rems aufnehmen können.

The S-Class general cargo ship the AAL Dampier [IMO 9521540/MMSI 566223000] was photographed alongside the common user berth, No. 1 NQ at Fremantle Port, Western Australia on January 13,2016.

The Singaporean flagged AAL Dampier was built in 2011 and has a gross tonnage of 14,053 tonnes. She is managed out of Singapore by Columbia Ship Management and her beneficial owner is Schoeller Holdings Ltd of Cyprus.

Ich wollte euch noch ein Bild von dem tollen Tag bei den Haubentauchern zeigen... Haubentaucher vs. Aal dauerte cirka 15 Minuten und nach 3 versuchten Übergaben an die jungen Haubentaucher, frass er den Aal selber.... Der Aal forderte ihn einiges an Geschick ab.

Das Licht an dem Abend war grandios....
