The busiest cargo airline in the world, FedEx Express has become synonymous around the world for its cargo operations, with their origins and namesake beginning with the dedicated cargo airline that began operations in 1973 as Federal Express.

Based from their SuperHub in Memphis, Tennessee; the carrier is one of 2 carriers based in the United States that continues to operate Airbus A300s primarily in freighter guise. For FedEx Express, the cargo operator at one stage operated at its height 71 examples from as delivered freighters or converted from passenger use.

FedEx Express is currently the largest operator of the Airbus A300, followed closely by UPS and then EAT Leipzig operating flights for DHL. FedEx Express also became the last airline to take delivery of the Airbus A300 when production ended in mid-2007. Since then, FedEx continues to operate a large Airbus A300F fleet with the oldest of the fleet, notably the converted freighters being earmarked for withdrawal as deliveries for the Boeing 767-300Fs continue.

Currently, FedEx Express operates 65 Airbus A300s, all of which are Airbus A300-600Fs.

November Six Six Five Foxtrot Echo is one of 65 Airbus A300-600Fs operated by FedEx Express, delivered new to the carrier on 19th March 1996 and she is powered by 2 General Electric CF6-80C2A5F engines.
