At one spot on Lake Nokoué there is an inlet that has some buildings and a dock on it so that the villagers can come to the mainland and do their trading or visit on the mainland. From this "port" there are boats out to the village. Here also the villagers come to sell fish and to buy produce. It is a very busy place with boats banging into each other and people calling out to each other. Very interesting place to visit.
