1.“Chasing The Sun” The Wanted
-I really like all the boy bands right now… and I heard The Wanted's other single “Glad You Came” and I really liked it! But… then I looked up a few of their songs and fell in love with this one. It just makes me feel happy.
2."Runaway Baby” Bruno Mars
-I heard Joshua Ledet sing this song on American Idol and loved it! I looked up the actual version and now it’s my “running on the treadmill” song!
3.“The One That Got Away” Katy Perry
-OMG I love this song! It’s been in my faves ever since it came out. I used to listen to in over and over again Every. Single. Day. It got pretty ridiculous… I think I thought I had some sort of connection to it… Oh well, I’m a weird person, I have no idea what I was thinking! Haha!
4.“Tell Me A Lie” and “I Should’ve Kissed You” One Direction
-Yes! It’s these guys! Haha I absolutely LOVE One Direction! These are probs my fav two songs by them. I just love their sound. Harry Styles is my favorite! (mainly cause of his dimples ^^ ) Their songs make me feel good and they’re catchy!

For now, this will mark the end of more than 10 pages of uploads scanned from American photography magazines. Cheers from Vox!
This scanning series makes heavy use of Flickr features such as descriptions, hyperlinks, keyword tags, and albums; the experience will be degraded on Flickr's mobile app, versus a full tabbed browser window.
For the era of autofocus SLRs and then digital cameras, Google Books has many years scanned covering 1981–2008.
Text search and issue indexing can be broken for some of those Google scans: for example they have scanned this December issue's autofocus SLR directory; but it's in a single mis-labeled file which actually covers the entire year of 1988.
Google books also has various WWII-to-midcentury issues scanned.
This is a temporary tattoo that I planned to stick on my hand and shoot, but it didn't quite work out that way. Its cool that it actually reads correctly in the mirror and because you all liked my ring and hair combo last time - well, here you go :)

Wow, I don’t know which is more absurd- that I have written 365 descriptions, or that this is the last one I am ever going to write for 2010.
Its going to be a long one, I can tell you that now- in true Hollywood style I will go for the format of the Oscar Acceptance speech :)
First of all, I want to thank Chris. Without his challenge on New Years Eve 2009 I honestly don’t think I would have embarked on this project. I had a strange misguided idea about the people who did them- I thought you had to be camera technical, be fluent in how to use Photoshop and be creative enough to work up a self portrait everyday.
After a flick through some of the 365 groups I realised the only exposure I had had up until then were the Flickrettes I follow who are crazy-talented people. So, I decided to take the plunge with Chris and Olivier.
Sadly both of the boys dropped off the 2010 365 wagon. They had their own reasons, and I have to say the whole project is actually a lot harder work than you can imagine- especially if you work full-time and find it stressful to flick that switch for creativity in the brain when your tired and kranky.
That is one of the reasons I have decided not to roll out another 365 into 2011.
My motivation this year was to complete the year, learn how to use my camera and begin to use Photoshop. The only goal I had was I wanted to photograph a cow….I can’t remember why that was so important now.
I didn’t know how to attach my camera to my tripod when I started and the only editing softwear I used was Picasa.
The key achievements I made in 2010:
•I got supervised by security at the Trafford Centre
•I learned how to use my tripod (and got snowballed) on my own several times in the street
•I had 2 migranes which were not fun.
•I shot with Oliviers equipment
•I relocated to the city with work
•I tried to understand RAW- I’m still working on this one
•I won my court case against the clampers (still not been paid…)
•I got a Danbo!
•I finally found out how The Starship Voyager got home
•I upgraded the D40 with the D300!
•I shot my favourite image
•I left my camera on the bus…
•I had a row with Olivier
•I made minty binary
•I turned 31
•I had a lightbulb moment
•I got EXPLORED!!
•It was Christmas
•I arranged a Flickr Meet
•I reached day 365.
That was a lot of achievements :)
And although personally these are all milestones the biggest of these were all the amazing people I have met- both virtually and more recently in real life through the community of Flickr.
There are too many to mention but for those people who stayed with me from the beginning and those who are new friends, thank you for all your comments, favourites, suggestions and inspirations. Without this interaction I know I wouldn’t have attained half of what I did.
Thanks to all the messages of support I had via Facebook- I was always touched when people told me how much they enjoyed “the world through Helens eyes” and I know there are people worldwide who regularly tuned in.
I need to mention to, that at least 3 of my friends (Dave, Ryan, and Becky.) have become inspired to create their own Flickr accounts and begin their own journeys into photography and I am so excited about this. If someone can look at my work and move enough to have a go themselves then I did something right :)
So, life after the 365 :)
I know I don’t want to do another year (just yet) but I like the idea of jumping into an inanimate date and rolling another year from a random starting point like Lou Bert did.
Until then, I am officially unveiling my ‘Life Lessons’ project!

. . . In fact, this was the only Bull Moose we saw in Denali, but he still was huge! He didn't seem to mind our tour bus about 60 feet away, but some fool tourist who was outside his vehicle was following him along the road, and when the moose came toward him, he risked his life by standing just 10 feet away from the animal!

Officially only the first three days of Chinese New Year (February 8–10, 2016) are statutory holiday. Chinese New Year's Eve and three more days are always added to give seven consecutive days of holiday.
