All the nights that I gave, clinging on with fingertips
To the love that never brings me no rescue
All the nights that I've cried, singing my own lullabies
Felt like love was never mine, 'til I met you
How you breathe the life into my bones
With you in this world I'm not alone, 'cause
I got all the love that I need
I got all the love that I needed
I got all the love that I needed now
Even when I couldn't believe it
Blood orange tastes the sweetest
I got all the love that I needed now with you
You're the light to my heart
Now they're burning in the dark
Feel the fire warming up, just for you
Just the taste of your lips
Bittersweet from the first kiss
Could a life be like this, even with you
Darling breathe my life into my bones
With you in this world I'm not alone, 'cause
I got all the love that I need
I got all the love that I needed
I got all the love that I needed now
Even when I couldn't believe it
Blood orange tastes the sweetest
I got all the love that I needed now, with you
Now
Now
All the love I'll ever need
It was right in front of me
And this blood orange tree
Now I'm falling with the leaves
And finally I see
I got all the love that I need
I got all the love that I needed
I got all the love that I needed now
Even when I couldn't believe it
Blood orange tastes the sweetest
I got all the love that I needed now, with you
Now
This is what the CN transfer from CP Stinson Yard looked like 11 years ago on this date in 2009. EJ&E 665 and 660 rumble railroad north over the Nemadji River, south of Superior, WI back on Sept. 18, 2009, with a pretty good cut of boxcars for Pokey Yard.
The lead 665 has a Helper Link on the front as the J 38s spent much of 2009 in helper and transfer service around Pokegama Yard. Their time in this service was about to come to a close and they would be eventually replaced by SD60Fs in helper service, although a few J SD38-2s would linger around Proctor into 2010.
This CN transfer still runs daily out of Stinson. It is often shorter, includes double-stack containers from Duluth, and is usually pulled by CN Dash 9s.

El Museo Castagnino se convierte tan sólo en una sombra, oculto por los edificios del entorno, a pesar de ser declarado Patrimonio Histórico.
The Castagnino Museum becomes just a shadow, hidden by the surrounding buildings, despite being declared a Historical Heritage Site.

I'll never get sick of hearing and seeing GP9s. Whether its the GP9u or RM, they're quite the warriors. Here's CN GP9rm 7068 along with an unphotogenic GATX 38, as they head north on the North Guelph with train 542
Between Zoar and Florida, the District 3 enters a narrow valley carved by the Deerfield River, which it shares for space with the narrow Zoar Road as well. With plenty of spring melting feeding the river on this warm, 90 degree spring afternoon, Pan Am Southern's 287 rolls through the curves above it, with a lengthy train of empty autoracks trailing. Norfolk Southern's Dash 9s are certainly ubiquitous on District 3, and probably will be for a while, with the lead Dash 9 bearing a new PTC installation on its cab roof.
This trio of faded warbonnets (Santa Fe C44-9s 632, 620, and 643) has become a St. Louis area foamer favorite. Here, it leads the "Madison Turn" back to BNSF's Lindenwood yard, passing Terminal Railroad's closed Tower 1 in the process. In the background is the iconic Gateway Arch, located on the grounds of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial.
Several probably hotter trains were held up at Q Tower for this move.

An SD-40-2 brings up the rear of the MILW freight that was led by a pair of GP-9s. A CNW switcher waits off to the side for it's turn. The train is on the wye at Westminster in St. Paul, MN on August 6, 1979. Looking at Google Maps, I can't tell which leg of the wye it is on, and I sure don't remember after 40 years!

I miss the days of Southern Air's 747 classics.
However this ex-LAN Cargo 777 carrying remnants of the former operator's livery was an interesting catch during an afternoon of on-and-off sunlight.
I waited in a carpark as it hailed then snowed, cold northerly wind thinking the forecast was for brighter weather in the late afternoon.
The tide started to ebb then the sky brightened and it stopped snowing. I wanted to shoot three different groynes which I managed to do in the last hour before sunset three long exposures for each groyne.
This was the final shot as the sky turned pink looking out eastward. I was very cold but happy and drove back one and half hours to where I was staying near Southwold.

Double CN C44-9Ws 2541 and 2658 race through Spruce Grove with a westbound grain train. It was cool to see these two in amongst the sea of GE Evolution units.
My first upload for 2013. Nothing special, my inactivity has caused me to forget simple workflow actions (close viewfinder when doing LE's, select the right channel on wireless remote etc. etc.). I did try a few weeks back to come back with a more "classic" landscape at Three Cliffs, but due to a very strong wind and being unable to get to the right spot safely meant I came back with nothing. Today was just a quick stint down at Weston to blow away the cobwebs.
