Prototype Parry People Mover vehicle 999900 at Stourbridge Town on 1st October 2006. To me it resembles the result of a night of passion between a horse-drawn tram and a Fiat Multipla.

999900 a Parry People Mover is seen at Highley on the Severn Valley Railway. This was the predecessor to the London Midland Class 139 cars.
Inlay by Harvey Leach, guitar by C.F. Martin & Co.
Since this guitar was originally destined to hang next to the millionth Martin (a guitar representing 170 years of building guitars), Harvey decided to use this instrument to represent the period in history when the very first Martin was built. This guitar represents a number of other firsts. It was the first collaboration between Harvey and C.F. Martin & Co. It was also the first “Museum” Martin to be offered for sale, and it was the first time the thin shell special effect Harvey developed (dubbed “Smoke and Mirrors” by Dick Boak at Martin) was used to depict glass and smoke in an inlay. The inlays on the fretboard show four western scenes, all cut from various types of wood and reconstituted stone. On the headstock, the “smoke” from the train uses thin gold pearl and partially obscures the Martin logo. On the pickguard, the “Smoke and Mirrors” effect is used on the mirror (in which the ceiling and front door are reflected), on the window (through which one can see the wooden sidewalk outside the saloon), and on the picture on the wall that reveals the image of C.F. Martin himself. Harvey spent about 300 hours on this project.

The former experimental 2002 built Parry People Movers class 139 No12 (139000, 999900, 139012), stands the level crossing on the seldom used spur at Highley that leads up to the Engine House.
