I have a pot full of Poppy flowers that flower in Gold and White. While they have stopped flowering at the moment they seem to spring up each year. This flower was enjoying some of the sun that was rather scarce this spring.
Sorry, late upload. I was on the road at 5:30 am to NYC and got back to Boston around 2 am...so you can understand :)
Had interesting experiences at the schools there...didn't take too many actual photos there...this was just on the way there. The fog was intense.

I wanted to try something a bit different, so I decided to set up my camera (the Nikon) on a 4 second exposure in normal light and, well, struck a 'pose'. Although its grainier than I expected, I like how dark it turned out for some reason. Not such a fan of my canckle though...
Another NWP Sunday evening. It topped out at about 105 here today, 113 about 30 miles further east. Here come Wes and Danylo around the Fairville curves seen from the shady, Adirondack chair-adorned pond at Rams Gate Winery. Gonna be a HOT freakin week here, and next weekend sees the annual trip of the Amtrak race extra to the Sonoma speedway about a mile and a half to my back.
Highway 97 going through mid-eastern Oregon and Washington is like no other place. A vast, remote prairie between two distant mountain ranges makes you feel that somehow you have gone back in time.
It is that time of year between the golden winter grasses and the spring wildflowers in the desert. Warm weather in the 70s are our normal Winter temperatures in the Sonoran Desert.
