Aufgrund von Bauarbeiten an der KBS 880 wurden am letzten Mai Wochenende einige Züge über Landshut umgeleitet. Auch der VTG Walter nahm den Weg über die eingleisige Strecke und konnte mit 193 966 an der Spitze von meinem Vater in Wallersdorf abgelichtet werden.

Toledo, el casco antiguo de la ciudad está situado en la margen derecha del río Tajo, en una colina de cien metros de altura sobre el mismo, el cual la ciñe por su base, formando un pronunciado meandro conocido como torno del Tajo. El punto que este meandro no cierra es la única entrada natural con que cuenta la ciudad, sobre la que se construyeron las carreteras que enlazan la ciudad con Madrid y Ávila.
Desde mediados del siglo XIX comenzó la expansión fuera de las murallas; primero en los alrededores de la estación de ferrocarril para despegar definitivamente desde finales de los años 40 del siglo XX por la vega del Tajo, con la construcción del Poblado Obrero18 de la Fábrica Nacional de Armas. En la actualidad el municipio de Toledo tiene una configuración muy dispersa, existiendo barrios separados del núcleo principal de la ciudad por amplios espacios abiertos, como ocurre con los barrios de Santa María de Benquerencia o Azucaica, una antigua pedanía situada en la margen derecha del Tajo, que están separados de la ciudad alrededor de 6 km. El desarrollo de los barrios periféricos ha provocado simultáneamente un paulatino abandono del antiguo recinto amurallado al trasladarse la población a los nuevos barrios nacidos desde los años 60.
