Just a few miles north of the beachside Black Skimmers was the annual US Open of Surfing. My early morning efforts didn't yield the best images I've ever taken but ya takes what the conditions serve up. I do like the action inside the curl before the wave breaks, like this, as the female contestant slides down the wave.
