Mit 143 957 bestreitete DB Regio den Wochenendsverkehr am 20. und 21.2 auf dem RE 18 zwischen Halle (Saale) und Jena-Göschwitz. In wenigen Minuten ist der Bahnhof Bad Kösen erreicht.
Die beiden LTE Vectrons 193 957 und 958 waren an diesem Tag für die Containerzugleistung 41442 nach Kalsdorf bestimmt. Dank einer frühzeitigen Abfahrt in Koper konnte der bunte Containerzug im Abendlicht bei Crnotice abgelichtet werden.
Am Abend des 16.05.2021 kam noch einmal kurz die Sonne heraus und ermöglichte so ein Bild von 143 957-9 mit ihrer S9 zwischen Klitschmar und Reußen.

The wonderfully sulpted summit cairn of Tolmount, looking north towards Glen Callater. The top stones are so finely balanced, I was surprised they didn't blow off in the strong wind that's blowing!
Tom Buidhe (pronounced Towm Boo-ee-ya) and translates as 'The Yellow Hill', is my 20th Munro and stands at 957 meters (3139 feet). Tolmount bizarrely translates from Gaelic as 'Uncertain', but it is my 21st Munro, and stands at 958 meters (3143 feet). The day sees me covering 18 miles by bike & hike so what I AM certain of is, it's going to be epic and it's going to hurt.
143 957-9 fährt mit ihrer S9 nach Halle/S in den Nordkopf des Bahnhofes Reußen ein. Viel Herbstatmosphäre in Mitteldeutschland ist in diesem Jahr leider nicht auszumachen, entweder die Bäume sind noch Grün oder durch den letzten Sturm schon vollkommen entlaubt.

After being spoiled the first weekend or excursions with cold temps, this Tier 4 J will have to do. Leading NS 957 across a former VGN bridge in Hardy on on the way to Roanoke this morning.

143 957-9 zieht ihre S9 nach Halle/S südlich von Klitschmar an einigen Feldern vorbei. Die KBS 219 ist eines der letzten Refugien der früher allgegenwärtigen DDR Mehrzwecklokomotiven der Baureihe 143.

Die beiden LTE 193 957 und 958 waren mit einem Containerzug aus Koper bei Loka zu sehen. Der Zug war nach Kalsdorf unterwegs.
Mit dem LTE Containerzug nach Koper ist die "40 Trucks" 193 957 hier bei Dekani nur noch 2-3 Minuten vom Ziel entfernt.
Mit dem LTE Containerzug aus Koper war die 193 957 "40 trucks" bei Crnotice auf dem Weg ins Landesinnere zu sehen.

Designed by W. Barton Wright as the standard goods locomotive for the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railways in 1876, the class 25 eventually numbered 280 examples. No. 957 was one of the final batch of 50 examples, leaving the Beyer Peacock factory, Manchester, in 1887 and survived until withdrawn from British Railways service at Wakefield in May 1959.
When taken into LMS stock 957 was renumbered 12044 and became 52044 at nationalisation.
