In Snæfellsnes

Djúpalónssandur is one of the many fishing stadions in Snæfellsnes, without a whole year inhabitation.

The fishermen came in Jauary from west, south and north Iceland. Farmers and workers leaving the farms in the hands of women and children for the wather-hardest months.

The winter fishing season (ironically named spring fishing season) is from mid january till mid may.

Het is heel lang gelden dat ik een goederentrein naar Interlaken heb gefotografeerd. Ergens in de jaren 90 toen de BLS deze nog reed met een AE 6/8.

Sinds enkele jaren rijdt WRS een ketel trein van Basel naar Brig en heeft onderweg twee tussenstops op een aantal ketels te bezorgen.

Nadat de trein is geparkeerd in Thun is de eerste tussenstop is Interlaken West. De derde ketel wordt geparkeerd op een ander kopspoor.

Es ist lange her, dass ich einen Güterzug nach Interlaken fotografiert habe. Irgendwann in den 90er Jahren, als die BLS dies noch mit einer Ae 6/8 betrieb. Seit einigen Jahren betreibt die WRS einen Kesselzug von Basel nach Brig mit zwei Zwischenstopps zur Anlieferung einiger Kessel.

Nachdem der Zug in Thun geparkt hat, ist die erste Haltestelle Interlaken West. Der dritte Kessel steht auf einem anderen Abstellgleis.
