4 April 2010. Easter Sunday and we went to the Easter Festival by the Lake. There were some bunnies and lambs there amongst the usual festival tat. A landmark day- Rowan sussed that the "Easter Bunny" was not real. Okay I thought but then she added "and Santa Claus is not real either". I am glad that I no longer have to lie to the Kids but sad that they are growing up- is 5 and 6 young to stop believing in Santa?
This one was weird to do. It was really easy, but one step required I do a gradient overlay on a mask layer. And it didn't work. I could not figure out what to do. The background is supposed to be a lighter shade of black with the white rain falling a bit more naturally. Mine looks obviously faked. Meh. It was my first try. I'll try again someday in the future.
