4/4/11 - Today was a monumental day in that I passed the Driving Theory Test for my UK Driver's License. I have been taking lessons for several weeks now already but I hadn't studied to take the test at all until yesterday. I crammed for about 5 hours; I was a bit nervous about failing as I would have taken it as a personal indignity. This morning I also had a bit of a false start with the test as well. I showed up to the test center without the right identification (needed a piece of paper that goes along with the UK learner's permit photo ID). I had to make a 1-hour round trip to my apartment and back to get the piece of paper; this had my blood boiling but of course it was my stupidity. The silver lining was that I had about an extra hour of cramming I was able to do on the Tube. It ended up being a very long day in the office so this photo became an easy way to capture the sentiment of the day.
