This will give you some idea as to the various habitats within the habitat I call "The Swamp." As for avian life, there have been good years, great years, and five really bad years during the drought when migration changed. This Gallinule was a surprise, but the reeds encompass most of the "pond" and this spot is exactly where I find the most damselflies. More dragons and damsels starting tomorrow...with more flora and fauna that I've found just two miles from home!

My first day on the Coast, and it's a rainy one! A day to rest up the legs, and make a big hot dinner for myself and my host Neil.
G521 departs the Hanson's siding at Kilmore East with 9342 to Brooklyn on the 1/2/22.
