I don't have a decent scanner. This is an iPhone photo of an old photograph (print) I took in the early 90s.
Pair of Ex Anglian 90s with 90014 now in Freightliner Orange leading 90007 still in plain white as they pass Old Linslade working 4L89 2133 Coatbridge - Felixstowe. Even had the thumbs up from the driver 27/5/21. (Taken using a pole)
One that never got uploaded for some reason, from about a year and a half ago now. Triple 90s in the form of 9026, 9025 and 9032 power PN's T447G trip train from Kooragang Port to their provisioning center at Greta, in the Hunter Valley. Later in the afternoon they would then form an empty coal service to one of the many mines in the area.
These 90 class locos are getting pretty rare, and from what I can see it has been a good 6 months since these in particular ran, now amongst many in storage in either Newcastle or Werris Creek.
90029 & 90035 slow for the loops at Abington on 17.03.22, while working the 4M25 07.08 Mossend - Daventry intermodal service.

My longest running friend (we first met when we were three) emailed me the other day suggesting I did a tribute piece to the band we made when we were about 10. The band was called "Groove" and mainly consisted of singing along to pre-recorded beats on my mini Yamaha keyboard, recording them on our cassette machine, then forcing my younger sister to buy them for real pocket monies... The lyrics featuring in this piece were to the tune of that 90s classic, "venus"...

Seeing an NPZ unit in its original livery always gives me a bit of a 90s flashback - I used to take these trains daily to go to school in the 90s. Smoking was still allowed in about half of the train, which usually smelled like weed when students were on the train. In the earily days they sometimes still brough along the occasional freight car, which was then uncoupled and left behind at some station on the way, and mail delivery using the freight compartments of the EMUs was still a thing.
Meanwhile most of the units have been converted to Domino units with new low-floor coaches, and look a bit boring, like most of the SBB fleet. However, between Neuchâtel and Pontarlier some original units remain, because changing any of that would have required a lengthy process to reapprove the trains to run on the french network. In 2019 these units were used for a few daily RegioExpress services.
CP Rail SD40-2 5679 and Conrail Leasing SD40 601 were passing a classic signal gantry outside of Portage in 1995 with Chicago-bound train 580.
A little more practice getting levels and tone mapping set up to my preference with Gshade in SecondLife while channeling my inner 90s child. Kudos to Beachy at FabFree for sharing where to get the top from Konvo and skirt from ConTrato.

A pair of 90s, 90016 & 90047, round the bend at Woodend in the Clyde Valley, between Lamington and Wandel, with the 4M11 Coatbridge - Crewe Basford Hall Freightliner.
I think this will be a rare sight in a few years, two 90s Daewoo's parked on a street together.
Just need a Nubira now and then we've got a full set (We have got an 02-plate Matiz, but that's at the auction).
I like both of these cars. Both of them are quite tidy low mileage examples, and both drive very well.
