Sometimes I wish I was a teenager in the late 90s. but then I remember I'd be in my mid forties instead of almost thirty six.

A little more practice getting levels and tone mapping set up to my preference with Gshade in SecondLife while channeling my inner 90s child. Kudos to Beachy at FabFree for sharing where to get the top from Konvo and skirt from ConTrato.

These pictures were taken by me in the years 1991 - 1993. I was about 6 years old when I got my first camera and I can remember that I loved it and photographed almost everything in my little universe. Like nowadays.

Seeing an NPZ unit in its original livery always gives me a bit of a 90s flashback - I used to take these trains daily to go to school in the 90s. Smoking was still allowed in about half of the train, which usually smelled like weed when students were on the train. In the earily days they sometimes still brough along the occasional freight car, which was then uncoupled and left behind at some station on the way, and mail delivery using the freight compartments of the EMUs was still a thing.

Meanwhile most of the units have been converted to Domino units with new low-floor coaches, and look a bit boring, like most of the SBB fleet. However, between Neuchâtel and Pontarlier some original units remain, because changing any of that would have required a lengthy process to reapprove the trains to run on the french network. In 2019 these units were used for a few daily RegioExpress services.

I had thad brick-built M_Tron logo on my table for some time and finally, this is where it ended. The U.F.O. panels pretty much dictate the shape and also Ebon Hawk (SW:KotOR) was on my mind when I was drawing the sketches.
