Autumn in the woods.

Some people asking how this is done, I've said in the comments but I'll say here as well:

Add a duplicate layer in photoshop, give it a lot of motion blur at 90degrees, and then erase the parts you don't want blurred, ie the foreground. If anyone needs/wants more details send me a flickrmail :)

Cabinetry is comprised of many 90 degree angles, here the doors and drawers meet to make a nice 90 degree intersection.

This is an engineers set square, used to check right angles. But right angles are not the same on a curved surface are they?

What to do on a Saturday afternoon... make pasta again, this time black pepper tagliatelle, rolled by hand and cut using a chitarra pasta cutter. Chitarra means guitar in Italian so imagine a wooden frame with thin wires stretched across it. Once you've rolled your pasta dough really thin, you place it on top of the wires and press down using rolling pin and there you go... tagliatelle done. You can even pluck the wires and play some music if you feel like it.

None left now!

Not guilty...mine's the orange juice! :-)
