“love ever gives. forgives outlives. and ever stands with open hands. and while it lives, it gives. for this is love's prerogatives - to give, and give, and give.”
~ john oxenham, english poet
U.S. Route 89 is a north–south United States Numbered Highway with two sections, and one former section. The southern section runs for 1,365 km from Flagstaff, Arizona, to the southern entrance of Yellowstone National Park. National Geographic named US Route 89 the No. 1 Driver's Drive in the world.
Thanks again to www.flickr.com/photos/kerstinfrank-design for the texture - it has to be my favourite one.

I love God.
I have a natural scense of where things belong.
My emotions usually get the best of me, but I'm working on it.
I want to actually be in Boston when it rains, and I want to write a book, and..... I want to do a lot of things. But, I need someone to be my everyday motivation.
Hey you... Hey Motivational person. I'm waiting for you. I've been waiting for you.. sometimes not so patientally, but.. I'm still waiting. I'm not wasting time.. because, I love you.
You may be scared to get to know me..... but who isn't? Face it, I look intimidating. I'm seriously waiting for someone to tell me that I'm just a teddy bear, and they can actually see that the first time they lay eyes on me. But, I'm an honest person, so.. I'm telling you. I look like a crazy FOOL. But, I'm actually really not at all. :)
My life?
....and how I got to be the amazing person that I am?
Well, you asked for it.
As a child, I was teased, and taunted, I tried to find some friends that I could relate to. You know, who wore splash pants, didn't wear their first pair of jeans until grade 6, always wore a pony tail, mostly talked to boys, and played video games.
I couldn't find people like me anywheres. I was a loner. (I had friend.... )
So, I was obviously a little different. To the friends I did have, I HAD to belong to one group. I was awfully young to be caring about this type of thing, but I was never the type of kid to be kept on a leash. I had to run wild, splash in the bathtub of life.
I have brown eyes, and blue eyes when I cry. You figure it out.
I attempt to play the guitar, kind of. I need one of those people in my life that will teach me something like that, and have patience with me whilst I am learning to play.
My ears are peirced more then once on each ear. I listen to emo/indie/acoustic, and the occasional screamo, and just about NOTHING else. Unless it's like... Buddy Holly, and Billie Holiday, because, well, let's face it. They make life what it is.
I don't need to name my bestfriends, because they know exactly who they are, and that makes me feel all happy inside, like a pancake.

Highway #89. Is the oldest and longest highway running through Utah.
On this particular day it snowed then rained then snowed again. Finally the sun did make an appearance long enough for me to snap this picture before it rained again.
As you may guess we had quite a few attempts to pick from - this was deemed the best :-) The peak in the background to the right of the Schreckhorn is the Finsteraarhorn which is the highest peak in the Bernese Alps,
The first ascent of the Scheckhorn was by the Victorian climber Leslie Stephen and guides. Stephen had a number of first ascents in the Alps to his name, He was the father of the writer Virginia Woolf.
#89 in my 100 x challenge - photos from my travels.
Also for Sliders Sunday. HSS
I was found these cups outside the Cardboard Cathedral in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Inspired by Red Stilletto: www.flickr.com/photos/thevixen/, who always gets the most amazing coffee cup photos...whether found or set up. I need a lot of practice to get to your standards but I thought of you Red, when I saw these! :)

Running out of names for images…this was taken in an awesome bright orange Aspen Grove right off the 89 on the descent into Hope Valley. Chose a 1:2 crop and like how it turned out this way. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
