I'm starting to really notice the limitations of the Canon S60--chroamtic aberrations, more pixels than the lens resolution can support (perpetually soft focus), noise galore, limited dynamic range.
It's starting to get to me. I'm a physicist for goodness sake: I go through my data point by point extracting meaning from the most subtle information, separating signal from noise, counting photons, delving into the minute causes of . . . everything, I suppose. And I think I'm pretty good and finding the dividing line between systematic and random effects.
If my Canon were my experiment at The Lab, I'd tear it down, pick it apart, and try to make it better. Time for an upgrade, I wonder? The damn thing fits so well in my pocket, that's the problem. Can I convince myself to carry around an unpocketable brick? What do you all do?
