The first morning of our Death Valley trip was planned for the iconic Zabriskie Point. We arrived the parking lot way ahead of the sunrise. However it was unexpectedly covered with thick clouds especially in the east sky. Nevertheless we have nothing else to do but to hope and wait. It seemed to be a long time just wait and wait. Yet the sky just opened a short while and the sunlight just only touched and kissed the tip of the distant mountains in the west. This was the only light we got in that morning.
