A quick camera rotation of the trees at the bottom of the garden.
This is not a Photoshop creation.
I visited the botanical garden at the U of NC - Charlotte today. This White Spiderwort caught my eye (mostly because there were very few flowers blooming today). But when I looked at it on my computer the tiny hairs in the flower's center amazed me. This is a very small flower and to see that level of detail is one reason I've become fond of macro photography. You just see things differently.
This was photographed with my Lensbaby Velvet 85 with a +2 closeup filter at about f/8 I think.

My first attempt at making a mandala, inspired by Karin. I used leaves & miniature flowers from my garden.
I believe it should have a theme - so this is for all of us, especially those who are scared & lonely right now.
Raisin Boule
530g Semi wholegrain wheat flour from lavialla.it, 320g milk, 50g butter, 50g sugar, 10g salt, a single egg, 160g raisins soaked in 80g spirits, 1g fresh bakers yeast, 1 tsp sourdough starter.
Proofed 24 hrs, baked covered in preheated castiron pot 60 min at 200°C wich was 5 min too long

Built in 1899 by Nelson & Reed of Glasgow and sold by the GWR in 1926 to the Taff Vale Railway, Class 02 0-6-2T No 85 approaches Oxenhope with the 12.21 passenger service from Keighley.
