Northern 8444 somewhere in Wyoming. No it's not a coal burner. 844 was converted to oil, along with the other 800s in 1945/46.

A southbound CSX manifest passes the signals at NE Gay (Yep the actual town name) south of Atlanta on the CSX Manchester sub. The signals are no doubt gone, I think both locomotives might be too. November 2nd 2011

Slate-crowned Antpitta, Grallaricula nana occidentalis, 11cm / 4.5in. Locally fairly COMMON in upper subtropical and temperate undergrowth with Chusquea bamboo. Arboreal but usually low and difficult to observe well. We were fortunate to see 3 of these small antpittas.
