Based on the amount of blossom on our Quince tree we will get the usual large crop!

Conrail 2034 & 2038 are parked at the North end of Shire Oaks Yard in Elrama, PA on January 1, 1998. They brought in the last WISO-84 of 1997 the previous day. The ex MGA Super-7's were used primarily out of Shire Oaks at the time, and were the standard power on WISO-84 until the MAC's arrived.

January 1, 1998 found a pair of Conrail Super 7's parked at the South end of Shire Oaks with a loaded WISO-84.

New Years Eve 1997 at the South end of Shire Oaks, PA finds CR 2031 on the back end of a WISO-84 that has come in from the Ellsworth Secondary, CR 6582 that appears to have brought in an empty hopper train solo, and a C40-8W and SD40-2 that have also brought in empty hoppers. Shire Oaks was a busy place back then.

De tweede trein zou er eentje van DB Schenker moeten zijn en deze kwam keurig op tijd de haven ingedraaid.

Geleerd bij de vorige trein werd niet geprobeerd het hek te bedwingen. Nu werd een poging gedaan door het gaas van het hek te fotograferen waarbij was vastgesteld dat het heel nauw luisterde. Op het klik moment zelf toch een iets verschoven standpunt wat rechts bovenin zichtbaar is...

Reminds me of my daughter around 1998-1999, she would read Brown Bear Brown Bear. “Bron Bear Bron Bear, what do see??? I see Bron Bear looked at me.” That’s how she would say it. It’s so cute. And while I don’t miss those days, I do miss those days.
