The damp mornig with warm autumn temperature. I left my maco lens home, glad when your 70-200mm focus on 95 or so cm. I did not see any insects for weeks.......
Ben Rinnes is the dominating summit of Moray and is a very popular hillwalk. The views, as might be expected, are extremely extensive, taking in much of northeast Scotland.
Peacock butterfly nectaring on lavender today - the scent was astonishing - yesterday's rain followed by today's sunshine had worked wonders. The plants were covered in bees, butterflies and various others.
