Stored two-bay covered hoppers give a brief illusion of a meet at this remote desert siding. Here the WP led their railroad away from the desert playa and up the east side of Sand Pass.

During our Get-together in Folkston, L212 was the train that probably got the most attention. A short break was taken to capture CSX 8100 with an ex-SP, HLCX SD40-2R in tow: 6334.

CN 8100 is pictured leading CN 330 through Brantford almost one year ago. At the time 8100 was still wearing its ex EMD demo paint.

Today 8100 was the trailing unit on CN 382 through Brantford now sporting a fresh coat of CN paint...it was nice while it lasted.

NS 8100, the Nickel Plate heritage unit, flies solo with CP train 234-19 at mile 98.8 on the CP's Windsor Sub.

An NS coal train with NS 2581 in the lead ducks under a neat group of CPL's as it heads towards Bluefield, WV.
