A quick walk to see if any of the raptors were around the Highway Paddock this morning saw me coming home past Bill's place. He had been watering his garden and I liked the droplets on the blooms.
Chevy flatbed truck seen in Show Low, Arizona.
This was at the "Truck Stop". A fun place of different foods, drinks, bands, arts, crafts, and games. The theme is old trucks and they are parked all around with many being used as seating, stage, or decoration.
With a headend consist swollen by three bad order SD40Ns, Union Pacific's westbound MGRRV prepares to rattle the west switch at Sano, Nevada. Stored two-bay covered hoppers give a brief illusion of a meet at this remote desert siding. Here the WP led their railroad away from the desert playa and up the east side of Sand Pass.

CN 8100 is pictured leading CN 330 through Brantford almost one year ago. At the time 8100 was still wearing its ex EMD demo paint.
Today 8100 was the trailing unit on CN 382 through Brantford now sporting a fresh coat of CN paint...it was nice while it lasted.
An NS coal train with NS 2581 in the lead ducks under a neat group of CPL's as it heads towards Bluefield, WV.
During our Get-together in Folkston, L212 was the train that probably got the most attention. A short break was taken to capture CSX 8100 with an ex-SP, HLCX SD40-2R in tow: 6334.
On October 16, 2024 there was no LA&L road train, so I was not able to catch any black and yellow Alco's. At around 12:45pm I saw a Facebook post that NS train 264 was by Warsaw. I figured if I hustled, I should be able to beat the train down to Browns Crossing, NY along the Canisteo River. I arrived at the location and within 5 minutes the train arrived, perfectly timed with a sucker hole. I got a black and yellow GE instead of Alco's, but it was still an excellent score.
