Black-billed Mountain-Toucan, Andigena nigrirostris spilorhynchus, 45cm / 18in. Fairly COMMON in subtropical and lower temperate forest. The most widely distributed and frequently encountered mountain-toucan.

At Rerwick, Bigton, Shetland. Inhabited until recently. The name is from "Klaufhóll" -- "klauf" being a cleft, and "hóll" a hill, or a height. People who watched the TV detective series "Shetland" might note that it is the location where someone was shot by a sniper! And if you google "Clavel" and "DVD" you should pick up a short film about the site and a onetime inhabitant. The black plastic things are silage bales.

The Story: CSX train K602 roars west on the CSX Trenton Sub, with some red GE thunder leading the way. The Trenton Sub has lost a lot of variety recently, so, anything other than the dark blue of CSX draws a crowd. Seen approaching SEPTA's Woodbourne Station.
