I'd been looking for a cute pair of sandals with high heels all summer; finally found a pair at the end of July.
The fuchsia shirt dress is by Kmart's Attention line, purchased in February 2015; more on the sandals elsewhere. Accessories are a pink bow and gold jewelry. More bare legs, of course.

aaaaaaaand it's working!
Whatever it is, diet-exercise-self control, I dunno really but it's finally working.
I have lost 24lbs!!!
It has been no easy feet let me just say. I have been fighting this weight battle my whole life. I lost 12lbs once for my friend's wedding (but it took 6 months and drugs and nutritionists and 6 days a week at the gym) but I've never ever lost this much weight. It's taken awhile (like 9 months or so) and hasn't been easy but they say when you lose it right then it stays off? I'm gonna go ahead and say ok then, let's make this shit stick!
On the down side- I am still not able to fit into any smaller clothes?!?!?! My old stretched out stuff is big of course but when i've tried on some new stuff at the store- it's all still in my old size!?!?!?! WTF? So I walk around in saggy butt pants in hopes that the next 5 pounds will at least put me in a smaller pair of jeans just so I can wear something that won't fall off! We shall see...
The goal initially was to hit 40lbs by 40yo, but if this keeps going- I'd totally be down for 50-60 instead. Lucky you, you'll be on the ride with me :)

I got busted by the environmental agency here for spinning on a fly-only lake... I had no idea at the time. It took 2 landrovers full of angry Welshmen to stop me, well, only one of them was angry, he treated me like I'd been pouring toxic waste into the lake. The amazing thing was, I'd made about 3 casts with a spinner and they were there out of nowhere... I reckon they employ hawks or red kites to keep an eye out.
