Since a part of BKV (Budapest Transportation Company) was sliced out to form BKK (Budapest Transportation Centrum), Volánbusz became a very important player in the transportation game in Budapest and its agglomeration;
BKK only manages and buys the service (buses, drivers & maintenance) for lines from other companies, and this company cannot be BKV on lines terminating outside the administrative borders of Budapest.
One of the companies that came to save the day on these lines is - you guessed it; Volánbusz. So they bought hundreds of city buses in the past ~10 years, painted in blue to "match" the BKV fleet colour. Well, mostly blue :^)

Nowa linia tramwajowa zaczynać się będzie od pętli "Mistrzejowice" i będzie przebiegać ulicami: Franciszka Bohomolca, Krzesławicką, Dobrego Pasterza, następnie od ronda Barei tunelem pod ulicami Lublańską i Młyńską do ulicy Janusza Meissnera, którą dotrze do Wieczystej.
The new tram line will start from the "Mistrzejowice" terminus and run along the following streets: Franciszka Bohomolca, Krzesławicka, Dobrego Pasterza, then from the Bareja roundabout through a tunnel under Lublańska and Młyńska streets to Janusza Meissnera street, which will reach Wieczysta.

As usual at days with nice weather in Keukenhof-season, Lisse transforms in one big traffic jam. Convenient for the photographers as I was able to overtake several buses on foot after alighting at a stop 850 meters away from the location of this photo.
