on the Friendship Highway from Mount Everest Base Camp to Tingri; Tibet

Scarborough Spa Complex - the theatre auditorium from the stage. Adapted at an advanced stage of construction from what was to have been the Winter Garden Lounge. The galleries at the side ran around the back of the hall, but were removed and replaced with the larger - and rather disconnected - balcony. Opened 1880, designed by Verity & Hunt and grade 2* listed.
