It is a mountain of the Iberian system located between the provinces of Zaragoza (Aragón) and Soria (Castilla y León) in Spain. With its 2314.30 ms. n. m., It is the maximum summit of the Iberian system and one of the most relevant peaks of the Iberian peninsula and the highest peak in both the province of Zaragoza and Soria.
Triumph TR6 ('73-'74?)
Triumph TR6 History (1969-1976)
Offered as an affordable, six-cylinder sports car, the first Triumph TR6 rolled off the production line in 1968 as a 1969 model. It's intended target was to rival similar sports cars at the time, and although most were designed with sleek, curved lines, the TR6 was squared off at both ends, making it stand out from it's competitors. With just a seven year production span, the TR6 grew to become a true British classic.
The Triumph TR6 was offered as a convertible only, with a factory steel hard top available optionally. Construction was conservative; the body was bolted onto the frame, which featured a front anti-roll bar, rack and pinion steering, and semi-trailing arm independent rear suspension. Disc brakes were fitted at the front with drum brakes at the rear. The iconic look of the TR6 was completed by very distinctive 15-inch wheels and tires.
TR6 Engine Specs
The UK market TR6 had Lucas mechanical fuel-injection (150-horsepower), while the US market TR6 was fitted with a carbureter (104-horsepower). In 1973, the UK fuel-injected version was de-tuned to 125-horsepower through a camshaft change and revised fuel injection metering. These changes made the TR6 engine smoother and more flexible.
The base transmission was a manual 4-speed gearbox. An optional overdrive unit was available, and gave drivers close gearing for aggressive driving, with overdrive available on 2nd, 3rd and top gears on early models.
Acceleration from the 2.5 litre six-cylinder engine was quick; 0-60 mph in just 8.2 seconds. Equally impressive was a top speed of 120 mph.
The Triumph TR6 remained in production for a relatively short period of time, but has became one of the most popular and instantly recognizable cars in the company's stable. Most of the TR6 sales were in the U.S. - of the 94,619 models produced, 86,249 were exported, with just 8,370 sold in the U.K.

I'm back from vacation and time do do some photographs. Vaki Kvaki has become one of my new fun finds store. Mainly because the designer does these incredible textures that make me wish this came in Real Life Sizes!!! The Dina outfit from Vaki Kvaki comes in 20+ colors available for both the Top and Skirt. But this crazy neon Greenish color is what popped for me. The skirt has a leathery/foil like look to it with ombre coloring. What's not to like about it.

……Went for a walk yesterday down the old railway line again that runs from Newport to Stafford, did around 5 miles and took a look at the Millennium Park at Derrington - now well established of course! Was a bit nippy to start with but warmed up by the time we got back to the car. Had to do quite a bit of extra work on this both in Lightroom and with NIK tools to eek out a bit more interest - it was a bit dull & lifeless. HSS to all, Alan:-)…..

My attempt at the "Flickr Friday" theme "Fruit"
Not at peak freshness here, to be honest... both the fruit sample, as well as the (somewhat tired) photographer...
Shot with a Carl Zeiss "S-Planar 74 mm F 4" lens on a Canon EOS R5.
As seen from the viewpoint right next to parking lot. Taken after first light.
With a sheer plunge of 89 feet, Tumalo Falls is both the tallest and most impressive waterfall along Tumalo Creek - as well as one of the most popular outdoor destinations in the vicinity of Bend. The area around the falls was burnt in a 1979 forest fire, though like the landscape surrounding Mount St. Helens after it's devastating 1980 eruption, the forest is quickly healing. A few snags still line the hillsides along the valley but the area is green again, covered with small fir trees and not at all detracting from the splendor of the falls. A nice set of viewpoints both at the top and near the base of the falls make viewing the falls possible for nearly everyone.

This time we took a holiday to the Isle of Bute. We visited Rothsay and Mount Stuart House both on Bute. Then Glasgow, Inveraray and a couple of days just driving around.
This is the first of three postings.
After the CNJ's Pennsylvania operation was taken over by the LV, a westbound freight heads up the former CNJ mainline behind four C628 (630-632-634-639.) The Lehigh Valley was using both mainlines on either side of the river heading north. Don't know how I knew this train was leaving or even which side of the Lehigh River it would take - scanner? what's that? - but it's possible that my visit to the Allentown yard tower (where I lensed the LV "pups" from behind the glass) was the occasion for gathering information the old fashioned way...from a friendly employee.

I swear I have always said I was born in the wrong era because I have always been in love with the pin-up girl style of the 40’s and 50’s. That’s why this look really was so easy for me to put together (mixed with a little updated urban flare of course)

At approximately 0749 on September 15, 2020, UP Train MCXNP 14 ran a stop indication and derailed on a crossover switch at State Line Jct. on the KCT High Line while crossing over from 75 to 74 Track. The switches were out of correspondence, being thrown while the stop signal violation took place. At over 20 MPH, both engines and the head 5 cars derailed, listing but upright.
The derailment thankfully stayed on the ballasted deck bridge without falling to the ground below, but presented a unique challenge with where the equipment came to rest, necessitating the use of several contractors to remove the locomotives and railcars.
Wilkerson Crane Rental, Inc., and Cranemasters did most of the lifting, while Mainline Services LLC., under the direction of BNSF engineering forces, as they have the MOW contract on the KCT; replaced the track. Watco/KCTL dropped new ballast with a BNSF rock train to replace what was removed from the bridge deck during cleanup.
A myriad of other contractors also assisted in moving the needed materials and equipment into the site. The line returned to service at 0450 on the 17th without the crossover, which will be restored at a later date. It was nothing short of a fascinating procedure to watch as the equipment was recovered.
Here the second autorack is set to the ground. These were loaded with Nissan automobiles.

Also present in countries which have a coastline along the Mediterranean coast, including North Africa. They are also present in many other countries around the world as far as New Zealand.
Large numbers of Greylag geese migrate to Scotland, from Iceland and some Scandinavia countries for the winter months.
Truly wild populations are mainly found in the Scottish regions of the UK.
Habitats: Various Freshwater places including, coastal marshlands, farmlands, gravel pits, reservoirs, Lakes and rivers. They have become semi-tame in public places such as parks, lake sidewalks, river sidewalks, where it will be commonly seen. Greylag geese are mainly herbivorous and graze favourably on various short nutritious grasses, (note the teeth like bill, which enables it to tear apart vegetation.) usually close to water. Will also be found in meadows, usually where farm animals are also grazing. Various leaf vegetation including cereal crops are also eaten, will also dig up the roots of young crops. They have been known to feed throughout the night as well as daytime, which can and does cause a concern for agricultural farmers, when large flocks are close by. They will also feed on small fish, amphibians, molluscs, crustaceans and insects.
Greylag geese are listed in Schedule 2 of the UK Wildlife and Countryside Act, so unfortunately, they have no protection outside the “Close season” (nesting times). The Greylag Goose is considered a pest in many countries, In the Orkney islands, they are now killed most of the year, they are also killed to be eaten, in some countries.
Nesting: The adult birds usually pair for life, many travel to their northerly breeding grounds in spring, marshlands, rivers, around lakes and on coastal islands are favoured habitats. 4 to 6 eggs are laid on the ground or on floating vegetation; using the likes of heather, rushes, reeds and various grasses. The nest is usually sparsely built, then lined with small feathers and down. Only the female will incubate the eggs, but both parents will protect the nest and young. Incubation takes around 28 days after the last egg is laid. The chicks are precocial, (being able to feed and move independently as soon as hatching). One brood a year between May and June in the UK.
Nesting times the Greylag geese will become territorial and will be very protective of their nest and young fledglings, from other large birds and other geese. Although some do join together with other families of geese for added protection. When nesting time ends, they will become social again. The birds will stay together as a family group and migrate south, in the late Autumn months.
UK has nearly 50,000 breeding pairs (2022) in the winter months, the number of breeding pairs, approximately trebles.

Delaware-Lackawanna Job PO-74 switches out the cars they picked up earlier from NS as DL3 to assemble the train they would be taking up the Poconos. This task ended up taking way longer than it should have because they apparently were asked by the secret service to clear out the yard of any freight cars as a "security measure" in anticipation of Sleepy Uncle Amtrak Joe's visit to Steamtown the next day.
Anyways, while this lead to very frustrating wait while they tried to figure out the hell they were even doing, it did at least lead to a nice afternoon chase to Pocono Summit with angles that usually wouldn't be possible to shoot with this lighting in the morning. Also, having the 2452 & 2461 on the point, the two original Erie Lackawanna engines on property, was a nice bonus as well since both of these engines would have regularly ran on this line back in the 60s & 70s. 10-19-21

I got a little technical to get this - I took three photos at different exposures, then used HDR PRO to merge them. I hadn't done this in years, but it occurred to me this morning to try it. I think it worked so that both the inside and outside are somewhat exposed correctly.

A Star Wars day special,

This build is both an extension of my long-planned project (an Imperial base) and an online collab with my friend Noah (H2Brick).
Who motivated me to do this? Well, Noah did whose part of the collab comes very soon. It's much more vertical than mine, I'm gonna spoil you just this. :D It was so nice to do multiple whatsapp/discord building calls with Noah and give feedback to each other.
Hope you like this updated version of the base. I personally see some oversimplified areas that I can improve in the future.
Don't worry, I'll work on them. I'm having an exam session now and I was grinding for the past 5 days to get this done. I guess it was worth it! :D
BTW. The size of the moc is 2x3 gray 48x48 baseplates now, will be expanded again this year!

Delaware Lackawanna PO-74 races through Summit Lake with DL #2409 leading and DL #2461 leading, both of these units are notable due to them not being painted in the corporate white GVT paint scheme, with 2409 in a Blue Wabash patch scheme, and 2461 in the old EL inspired Delaware Lackawanna scheme (4/25/21).
Delaware Lackawanna PO-74 exits the east end of the Nav Aug Tunnel on the Pocono Main with a duo of non-corporate leaders on the point as they prepare to reverse into the Ardent Mills cut of grain cars. 2409 was recently restored to operation and wears a patched blue scheme with temporary Wabash lettering, and 2461 wears the older version of the DL scheme. Both of these units are scheduled to be repainted to the white scheme sometime over the coming summer, so getting both of them on one train was a huge bonus to this trip (4/25/21).

My first build of the year is a little diorama featuring a very cute sea outpost combined with a very useful...um...outhouse.
Both the building has the same color scheme, medium azure for the walls, tan for little details and medium nougat for the roof. It's the first time I've used lavender plant leaves and I'm very happy with this color.
The little outpost is built half on rock and the other half on stilts. I added a handful of little details to let it fun and lively.
The white boat is inspired by that of Anthony Wilson.
