Spitsbergen / Svalbard, Day Nine, June 24, 2016: Kongsfjorden (King's Fjord).
For this Zodiac trip down King's Fjord, I brought my Sony RX10M3 for all landscape shots and Canon 1DX2 with the 100-400 for any bird / wildlife shots. I took pretty much all the landscape shots with the Sony, which did very well.
But having the Canon, I decided to take a close up shot of the glacier anyway, and set focus and exposure on the wall of blue ice facing me. Exposing for the ice greatly lightened up the clouds, the snow on the mountain, and the reflections on the water in the foreground. This created an etherial and mystic look.
I was thinking of pulling down the highlights a little in post-processing, but then decided to leave it alone. It feels like somebody turned on a floodlight over the entire landscape!

El 730.018 circulando por el tramo en pruebas Madrid/Chamartín a Valdemoro A.V.
Viaducto sobre la M40 y la via de los enlaces ferroviarios de Madrid.

Escapada rápida esta mañana a la LAV de Valencia para ver algun AVE y este 730 entre Cartagena y Madrid haciendo simulación comercial. Saludos a Arturo y Felipe.
Unidad 730 procedente de Madrid Chamartín, con destino a Vigo, circulando por Chapela, próxima a terminar su servicio comercial en la terminal de Guixar, en Vigo.
Por aquella época, utilizaba la línea de Alta Velocidad hasta el intercambiador de Puebla de Sanabría, y continuaba su viaje, primero por el "Directo" hasta Orense, y posteriormente, por la línea del Miño hasta Vigo.
Muchos cambios de horarios, frecuencias y material ha sufrido esta relación en los últimos años, esperando, que no sean los últimos hasta la puesta en servicio de la variante de Cerdedo.
