I finally managed to sneak down the Kukui Trail and found some nice clouds here at Waimea Canyon. Then the sun broke through clouds and cast some cool and interesting light over the landscape. After reviewing this photo, I wished I had taken out the 70-200 to pick the landscape apart piece by piece, but alas, Live and learn. :)

Landegode fyr ist ein Leuchtturm an der norwegischen Küste bei Bodø, Nordland. Der Leuchtturm liegt auf der Schäre Egglesøya, ein Stück nördlich der namensgebenden Insel Landegode (Landego). Der Leuchtturm und das Haus des Leuchtturmwärters wurden 1901 erbaut. 1902 wurde der Leuchtturm in Betrieb genommen. Der 29 Meter hohe, runde Leuchtturm besteht aus Gusseisen.
Die Schiffe der Hurtigrute passieren auf der Fahrt nach Norden den Leuchtturm Landegode kurz nach dem Auslaufen aus Bodø.
Landegode fyr is a lighthouse on the Norwegian coast near Bodø, Nordland. The lighthouse is located on the archipelago Egglesøya, a bit north of the island Landegode (Landego), which gives the lighthouse its name. The lighthouse and the lighthouse keeper's house were built in 1901. In 1902 the lighthouse was put into operation. The 29 meters high round lighthouse is made of cast iron. The ships of the Hurtigrute pass Landegode lighthouse shortly after leaving Bodø on their way north.
No idea why I did this, but after applying such strong tonal changes the wood creature appeared from the woods. Ok, too much imagination? Cabin fever setting in probably...and yes, I admit...I know why I was just playing with tonal adjustments on old shots because I cannot get out to take new ones....grrrrrr

the weather people reported for days that we would get anywhere from 6-8" of white... our first accumulation of the season... this is all we got, not even 2"...but still pretty!!
