“No comas ni ajos ni cebollas, porque no saquen por el olor tu villanería” le aconseja D.Quijote a Sancho, al considerar que el ajo y la cebolla eran consumidos por los pobres.
A relatively clean CP 7002 leads a second train 230 on the approach to Toronto Yard with a trio of even cleaner EMDs trailing 3rd-5th. 9014, 6309, 6231 are fresh from repaint in Mayfield, KY and are headed to Montreal where I'd guess they'll sit for the rest of the winter and emerge in the spring when maintenance season begins.
Wheeling & Lake Erie’s 618 passes over the Mingo Creek Trestle with a cut of coke empties for Monessen, and a lengthy cut of Tankers for Connellsville yard. For power we have a good quartet of SD40-2’s, FURX duo #6991 & #6350 on point, and tiger duo #7008 & #7002 trailing. The first time I had ever shot Mingo Creek Trestle was in October of 2023, while I was happy with my shot then I never truly felt like I captured the trestle how I wanted and focused more on the power. This photo here really shows the presence of the trestle comparing it to the houses down below, something i’ve been wanting to get for a long time.
Last night a line of Thunder Storms passed south of Toronto over the Niagara Peninsula and the south shore of Lake Ontario. I managed to capture a few decent frames. The other 680 just got deleted.
