The weekly theme is selective colouring.
I took the parasol out with me in the hope of finding somewhere interesting to photograph it but ended up with this fence. Not sure I'll manage to keep the theme up as I now have RSI from re-colouring! ;) It's quite time consuming too, a great theme though so I'll do my best.
Oh dear, I have just realised that to fit the theme the selective colour was meant to be done in camera, sorry!

The distinctive concrete units of Montreal's Habitat 67, an experimental modular housing complex designed by renown architect Moshe Safdie. Conceived as his master's thesis in architecture at McGill University, Safdie was awarded the project to be built as a pavilion for Expo 67, despite his relative inexperience. In the spirit of a new openness that characterized this period, the exhibition was entitled “Man and his World” after Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s philosophical memoire. Housing was one of the main themes of Expo 67 Habitat 67 comprises over 350 prefabricated concrete boxes arranged in various combinations which was envisioned as the future for urban living.

The Truong Tien Bridge is 403 metres (1,322 feet) long gothic structure, with 6 arches of comb-shaped steel girders, each arch itself 67 metres (220 feet). The bridge's width is 6 metres (20 feet). Spanning over the Perfume River, the northern bridgehead is in Dong Ba ward with the southern bridgehead is in Phu Hoi ward in the city center of Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam.

Gaining some fake altitude by climbing at the top of a earth pile produced by the construction of a new high voltage electric line who could be seen at left. I managed to barely catch VIA 67, making track speed toward Toronto, powered by two F40PH-3D bracketing seven LRC coaches.

Parque natural
Tejera Negra es un hayedo situado en Cantalojas, en el rincón noroccidental de la provincia de Guadalajara (España). Forma parte del macizo de Ayllón, en el extremo oriental del Sistema Central. Es uno de los hayedos más meridionales de Europa.
En 1974 se declara al hayedo de Tejera Negra sitio natural de interés nacional y en 1978 se declara parque natural, que se amplió en 1987. Desde la creación del parque natural de la Sierra Norte de Guadalajara, el 22 de marzo de 2011, quedó integrado dentro de éste, por lo que se derogó su anterior declaración de parque natural.

I thought I'd develop a shot from last year a little further with added el wire.
On tripod 1 I swept the wire from left to right in a sort of rowing motion then replaced the lens cap.
Off to tripod 2 and turned on my torch with the www.lightpaintingbrushes.com orange filer. Big chuff of vape, positioned my hand and removed the lens cap for 4 seconds.
Straight out the kitchen and into LR for some minor fettling and a 16:9 crop.

In den zwanziger Jahren des vergangenen Jahrhunderts hatte die Industrie das Gebiet der heutigen Stadt Oberhausen fest im Griff: Fördertürme, Kokereien und Eisenhütten prägten hier wie in anderen Teilen des Ruhrgebiets das Bild. Doch deren Vernetzung funktionierte noch nicht in allen Bereichen optimal. Zwar wurde das Gichtgas, das in den Eisenhütten der Gutehoffnungshütte (GHH) erzeugt wurde, bereits genutzt, um die Kokerei in Osterfeld zu befeuern. Doch sobald die Eisenverarbeitung stockte, musste bei der Kokserzeugung Kohle oder Öl verbrannt werden. Umgekehrt fackelte die Hütte ihr Gas ungenutzt ab, sobald der Kokereibetrieb nicht reibungslos lief. Der Gasometer sollte die so entstehenden Verluste beheben, indem er Gas speicherte und nach Bedarf wieder abgab.
Im Februar 1927 wurde mit seinem Bau begonnen, und nach knapp zwei Jahre stand am Rhein-Herne-Kanal der mit 117,5 m Höhe und einem Durchmesser von 67,6 m größte Gasbehälter Europas. Am 15. Mai 1929 wurde das damalige Meisterwerk der Ingenieurbaukunst in Betrieb genommen.
1,74 Millionen Reichsmark hatte sein Bau gekostet – Geld, das gut angelegt war, denn der Betrieb rechnete sich schon nach dem ersten Jahr. Zunächst wurde er mit dem energetisch armen Gichtgas gefüllt, das als Abfallprodukt in den Hochöfen anfiel. Später nahm er das hochwertigere Koksgas der Kokerei Osterfeld auf und versorgte damit hauptsächlich die umliegenden Industrieanlagen bis hin zur Ruhrchemie in Holten.
Im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde der Oberhausener Gasbehälter mehrere Male von Bomben getroffen, musste aber erst kurz vor Kriegsende im Januar 1945 stillgelegt werden. Nach dem Krieg geriet er 1946 bei Reparaturarbeiten in Brand und wurde daraufhin bis auf das Fundament abgetragen. Beim Wiederaufbau, der bis 1949 dauerte, konnten verschiedene Konstruktionselemente, unter anderem das Dach, weiterverwendet werden.
Nachdem der Koksbedarf stagnierte, wurde die Kokerei in Oberhausen geschlossen. Und deren Gas ersetzte man zunehmend durch Erdgas, das über Pipelines angeliefert wurde. Der Gasometer wurde überflüssig, seine Stilllegung erfolgte 1988.
