A pochi chilometri da Firenze, nel territorio della Val d’Elsa, sorge il suggestivo borgo medievale di Certaldo. La cittadina d’arte ha dato i natali a Giovanni Boccaccio e, per la sua bellezza, ha ottenuto la Bandiera Arancione dal Touring Club Italiano.
Conrail 6630 leads train OIEL up the Meadville Line at Almond Lake in Almond, NY on February 8, 1986. This line is now run by the WNYP, but this stretch of track is currently dormant.
These colorful little huts are quite famous and have been featured in ads for Newfoundland. Taken in Cavendish, Newfoundland.

A wonderful 4 hours spent @ this delightful reserve yesterday only marred by the sad news that we lost one of its wonderful bird photographers, the sudden death of John "FLICK" Purchase. We last met in May chasing Warblers together with his great friend Norman Rice. He was kind, helpful & generous with all who met him. He will be sadly missed. He would have enjoyed this afternoon @ his favourite reserve. RIP.
