Sinds april 2021 rijdt Crossrail/BLS Cargo in opdracht van Kombiverkehr een containertrein tussen het Italiaanse Mortara en het Belgische Gent, via grensovergang Montzen. Met ingang van dienstregeling 2022 rijdt Crossrail enkel de zondagse rit naar Gent, niet meer via de Montzenroute, maar transit door Nederland, via Venlo en Roosendaal. De trein wordt standaard gereden met een class 66.

Restored Gas Station In Weston, Missouri.

After a covid year of no travel last year, happily I got out to the western United States three times this year for my mimimum annual requirement of walking in mountains. Here I am (at right) with two of my backpacking buddies at Rocky Mountain National Park last month. We just day hiked at RMNP on this trip, but are planning a gray-beard backpacking trip next summer in the Wind River Range of Wyoming. We are all hoping to earn the "I survived the 60s both times" merit badge over the next few years.
