The Skua is a large, predatory seabird that nests near the penguin colonies. They force other birds to disgorge food and steal their eggs and young. But they have babies to feed also. A photo of a chick is in the comment box. Taken in Carcass Island, Falklands.

An Infrabel ballasttrain gains access to the former "cour à marchandises" or goods loading and unloading area, thereby passing the now disused (and disconnected) shunting locos stabling tracks. A very nostalgic end of a warm summer evening on 11/09/2019.
The Miskhor - Ai-Petri cable car is one of the most popular and most visited tourist sites in the Crimea - a unique unsupported span extends between its middle and upper stations: 1670 meters long and an elevation angle near the mountains of 46 degrees. In less than 15 minutes you rise to a height of 1153 meters, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the southern coast of Crimea.
