The wrecked GNWR 61 sits at P&L Jct. in Caledonia, NY on June 21, 1986. Some kids had let a cut of cars loose up in Leroy and the cars rolled at great speed all the way to P&L Jct. The salt train power was stopped on the main at P&L Jct., with the 61 being the trailing unit. Good thing that the crew was in the lead unit at the other end of the power consist or they might have been crushed by the impact.
This is the finest example of a 1st Gen big body Dart I've ever seen.

Roberval & Saguenay's "61 Ouest" leads the first morning westbound out of Port-Alfred bound for Arvida, with a loaded cut of bauxite hoppers on the headpin.
The sound of 4 EMDs in notch 8 tackling the 1.6% Grade between milepost 16 and milepost 12 was quite impressive.

We visited Mirror Lake while we were camping around in Utah recently. It was a beautiful small lake. There were lots of people fishing the shores and several nonmotorized boats in the still water. We hiked around the lake as far as we could. The lake path is not completed so we had to double back due to the construction workers and equipment.
