Rural scene along a quiet stretch of scenic Highway 61 near Boscobel,WI. The 1400 mile highway which stretches from Louisiana to Minnesota contains a lot of history and lore along its route.Bob Dylan's fascination with it lead to one of his more popular albums,"Highway 61 Revisited"....
The wrecked GNWR 61 sits at P&L Jct. in Caledonia, NY on June 21, 1986. Some kids had let a cut of cars loose up in Leroy and the cars rolled at great speed all the way to P&L Jct. The salt train power was stopped on the main at P&L Jct., with the 61 being the trailing unit. Good thing that the crew was in the lead unit at the other end of the power consist or they might have been crushed by the impact.

Regelmatig ontvangt de graanoverslag Venhaus in Spelle fraaie treinen beladen met graan afkomstig vanuit het Oostblok.
Zo ook op 24 November 2020 toen de RVM 61 de fotograaf passeerde met een fraaie trein bestaande uit CD Cargo Tadgs richting de losput waar de wagens een voor een gelost zullen worden.
We visited Mirror Lake while we were camping around in Utah recently. It was a beautiful small lake. There were lots of people fishing the shores and several nonmotorized boats in the still water. We hiked around the lake as far as we could. The lake path is not completed so we had to double back due to the construction workers and equipment.

Exposure 90 sec and developing time around 20 min.
Rich Colors. But a challenge to get something usable from these very thin negatives.
I am literally sat in bed trying desperately to keep my eyes open whilst I write this, I don't know why I'm so tired but there we go! I don't even know where this shot came from, I was going toying with the idea of a cabbage, or a biscuit shot...but then I started dinner and this shallot found it's way to the studio! As soon as I took it, the awful joke that Andy makes EVERY TIME I'm using shallots came to mind and obviously had to be the title.
