A unique fomation with 15 aircraft in the one photo
After over 60 years of taking photo's I still get that "Tingle" in the stomach when I take shots like this. The anticipation of wanting to upload it and see what it's like. Spring Blossom still does this to me.
After 60 years well-lived life and a lot of small marks in it... I hope #my.heart.will.go.on many many years more.

A little Disneyland movement to brighten a spring day at the "Happiest Place on Earth".

While the parks have colorful flowers all year long, they get an extra boost from the trees and other wildflowers planted through out Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
Of the more than 17,000 trees at the resort, several display blossoms of white, pink, blue and other colors of the rainbow. During the spring, the trees in the hub area of Disneyland burst forth with pink blossoms.

I had know idea there were 17,000 trees at Disneyland but I sure do love those blossoms around the hub.

De Transavia A321 retrojet in de iconische "1960's" retrolivery werd vandaag, 25 july 2025 afgeleverd aan Tranavia.
Na een korte vlucht en een uitgebreide rondrit, onder grote publieke belangstelling over het Schiphol-terrein, werd het jubileum toestel uiteindelijk aan gate D2 geparkeerd.
Het ontwerp van de retro-livery is geïnspireerd door de iconische Transavia-huisstijl uit 1966, ontworpen door Thijs Postma. In juni 1966 vroeg oprichter John Block aan ontwerper Thijs Postma om een opvallende beschildering voor de drie DC-6-vliegtuigen die toen de vloot vormden. Binnen een kwartier schetste Postma een iconisch ontwerp in groen en zwart, met de herkenbare ‘T’ op de staart. Op vrijdag was het ontwerp klaar; op zondag stond het al op de vliegtuigen.
Voor de viering van het 60 jarig bestaan van Transavia is er nu een Airbus A321NX in deze kleuren gespoten.

The Transavia A321 retrojet in the iconic "1960's" retro livery was delivered to Transavia today, July 25, 2025. After a short flight and an extensive tour, amidst great public interest over the Schiphol grounds, the anniversary aircraft was finally parked at gate D2.
The design of the retro livery is inspired by the iconic Transavia house style from 1966, designed by Thijs Postma. In June 1966, founder John Block asked designer Thijs Postma for a striking paint scheme for the three DC-6 aircraft that then constituted the fleet. Within fifteen minutes, Postma sketched an iconic design in green and black, featuring the recognizable 'T' on the tail. By Friday, the design was ready; by Sunday, it was already on the planes.
For the celebration of Transavia's 60th anniversary, an Airbus A321NX has now been painted in these colors.

If you notice the information on the right indicates the area for tags for fish catches. Under a river bridge in Enfield Nova Scotia they dip net bait fish. February 15th is the Canadian Flag Day having one of the most recognizable national symbols worldwide. Queen Elizabeth had the flag raised over our Parliament Building in Ottawa, Canada February 15th 1965.
This car is the last car President John F. Kennedy exited alive. It was built in 1963 and has got counter-opening "Portal doors". This unique car can bee seen in the new "Nationales Automuseum" in Dietzhoelztal, Germany. For more information visit www.nationalesautomuseum.de/en

My parents are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this week. They became husband and wife on August 19, 1949.
